California: Entrepreneurship at it's best!

Steve Seiler, our director of dining services and Olivia Tzou, our dietitian together with our chef Mel Perez felt that we could increase revenue by offering our services to adult daycare centers.

They created the brochure and a letter in both English and Chinese to the local community. They sent out 20 letters last week. They have already received two callbacks and I was able to participate in one meeting.

What was amazing was that our dietitian was leading this charge and was able to communicate with these adult daycare center leaders in Chinese. We are offering them a Chinese menu since we already offer that for a residents at the community. They are extremely interested and potentially will be starting with us one meal a day once a week. This could expand to one meal a day five days a week. What a great show of leadership!
