Executive Chef Larry McMahon at Good Samaritan Society Fort Collins Village has been talking with resident Joe Davis about his days of manning the BBQ and smoking meats. Joe has been missing not being able to do that since he moved to Fort Collins Village. So, Chef Larry personally invested in a smoker and a brisket.
On July 25th, Joe made a batch of his favorite rub which together they applied on the brisket. The following day Joe and Chef Larry smoked the brisket out on the patio, applying Joe’s BBQ mop across the brisket several times throughout. Once the brisket was well smoked and rested, you can see by the photos that Joe and Larry were extremely happy with the results.
